True, but i'd still defend the dream team. Now, long afterwards, with the Internet allowing us to search the whole transcripts and other statements in under a second, and now that the firestorm of "OJ did it! OJ did it!"(quoting Denise Brown) has been reduced to a sporadic gunshot every now and then, it's easy to call them incompetent.
They might have had computers, but no way the searching speed, no way the amount of information that is there now. They were confronted with the constant prejudice against OJ, brought into the courtroom by Marcia Clark (and Darden). One needs only to take a look at the many feminist sites still using every opportunity (like the recent OJ<->Sydney quarrel) to reinforce the idea that "only O.J." is to blame for all of it, and the outrage is that he's still alive and outside of prison.
Someone had put them all on a train down a dead end road with his fabricated "Jealous Othello in Brentwood" story. Having arrived at the end of that dead end road, "reasonable doubt", they could only confirm how mislead and senseless the whole investigation was, and point with anger in the direction of the one chief supporter of this doubtful investigation...M.F.
