I think the LA secret police are the hitmen who work as cops. I'm almost sure Shipp and Fuhrman were hitmen. They probably need a whole group in high places to help them pull it off and cover it up and i think Marcia Clark was one of them. they probably oversee prostitution and drug traffic and who knows what else. Nicole was well known anyway as being married to a famous athlete. When she became involved with illegal activities she rubbed shoulders with hitmen. She might have known they were hitmen and maybe not. I have a sense that if it were not for Ron, she would be alive. Whatever he was doing , bags of money in his apartment, she was helping him in his efforts. He could have been blackmailing. That's what i think today.
